AIFwD exists to give people honest, useful guidance about AI education and careers. These standards govern how we research, write, and review everything we publish.
Editorial independence
Our recommendations are made by our editorial team alone. No school, program, or advertiser can pay to change a ranking, a rating, or the substance of our advice.
Sponsored placements and affiliate partnerships exist, and we disclose them plainly — but they are kept entirely separate from editorial judgment. A program's commercial relationship with us never affects where it lands in your matches.
How we research and review
Every program and course we cover is evaluated against a consistent set of criteria:
- Cost and value — total tuition, fees, and what you actually get for it.
- Outcomes — graduate employment, career-switch success, and earning potential.
- Format and flexibility — online vs. in-person, pacing, and time to completion.
- Accreditation and reputation — institutional standing and employer recognition.
We draw on official program data, public outcomes reporting, and direct conversations with admissions teams. Where data is unavailable or unverifiable, we say so.
Accuracy and corrections
We fact-check before publishing and date every page so you know how current it is. Tuition, deadlines, and curricula change — we review our most-read guides on a rolling basis.
If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, tell us. We correct confirmed errors promptly and note material changes.
Authorship and expertise
Articles carry a byline and, where relevant, are reviewed by someone with subject-matter expertise. Our contributors' backgrounds are listed on the Editorial Team page.
Labeling sponsored content
Anything a partner pays to feature is clearly marked with a “Sponsored” label and visually distinguished from editorial content. We never present advertising as independent recommendation.
